Effective: May 2026

Overview

We keep this simple: you own your data, we use it only to run the service, and we don't sell it. DealVoid is compliant with India's Information Technology Act 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act).

1. What data we collect

When you sign up and use DealVoid, we collect:

  • Account information: your name, email address, phone number, firm name, city
  • Deal data: deal names, types, stages, values, property addresses, notes
  • Contact data: names, phone numbers, email addresses of the parties you add to deals
  • Usage data: actions you take in the app (stage changes, checklist updates, etc.) stored in the activity log
  • Device/session data: basic browser session tokens for authentication

We don't collect payment card numbers. Payments are made via UPI outside the platform.

2. How we use your data

We use your data to:

  • Provide and run the DealVoid service
  • Display your deals, contacts, and history to you
  • Power the AI assistant (your deal context is sent to Google Gemini to generate analysis)
  • Improve the platform based on aggregated, anonymised usage patterns
  • Respond to support requests

We don't use your data to show you ads. We don't build advertising profiles.

3. AI assistant and third-party processing

When you use the AI Deal Assistant, relevant deal data (deal details, checklist, contacts, dates, activity) is sent to Google's Gemini API to generate the analysis. This data is processed by Google under their API terms. We don't store AI responses beyond displaying them to you in the session.

Google's API usage policies apply to this processing. You can choose not to use the AI assistant if you prefer your deal data not to be sent to Google.

4. Data storage

Your data is stored in Supabase, a managed database platform hosted on AWS (Amazon Web Services). Data is stored in a region within the Asia-Pacific zone.

Authentication is handled by Supabase Auth with secure, server-side session tokens. We don't store passwords; authentication is handled securely through Supabase's infrastructure.

5. Data sharing

We don't sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. Full stop.

We use the following services to operate DealVoid:

  • Supabase: database and authentication
  • Google Gemini API: AI assistant (only when you trigger it)
  • Vercel: hosting and deployment

We may disclose data if required by law or a valid legal order from Indian authorities.

6. Cookies

DealVoid uses minimal cookies, primarily the session token required to keep you logged in. We don't use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies from third parties.

7. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act 2023 and India's IT Act 2000, you have the right to:

  • Access: request a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Correction: update or correct inaccurate data (editable within the app)
  • Deletion: request that we delete your account and associated data
  • Withdrawal: withdraw consent for data processing at any time by closing your account

To exercise any of these rights, email us at dealvoid2026@gmail.com. We'll respond within 30 days.

8. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we'll delete your personal data within 30 days of your request, except where retention is required by law.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. We'll note the effective date at the top. Continued use of DealVoid after changes means you accept the updated policy.
